French Toast

French Toast is romantic and playful - an eclectic mix of vintage waltz, swing, Latin and European music styles. Established in 2013, we have a love affair with French music - its passion, romance and beauty. And so we recreate the music that was popular in Parisian dance halls, cafés and bistros in the 1920's through 1950's, and give these wonderful songs a little twist! French Toast is made up of first rate jazz musicians, and the ensemble varies depending on the event. 

The master chef behind French Toast is Mignonne Profant, a vocalist, actress and entrepreneur who takes great pleasure in connecting with her audience, regardless of the setting. She has performed throughout Southern California with several theater and opera companies, and owned an interactive entertainment company for 10 years. She now specializes in French songs and the American Song Book, performing regularly for private and corporate events throughout Southern California.

 Ms. Profant is the CEO of the LBP Media Group, providing media services to businesses in the Southern California area, including live music and event support. She is also co-founder of the Profant Foundation for the Arts, a non-profit organization which gives scholarships to developing artists as well as producing free concerts and exhibits of professional artists in the county of  Santa Barbara, California.
